Needed some "me time" after being very busy the past month catching false albacore, dolphin, assorted blue and rainbow runners, snook, jacks, etc. Went out solo in the late afternoon after day trip finished and the result was this. Surprised I was able to pull this off solo, especially the landing/boating part. Easily bottomed out my 30lb Boga Grip. 12# rod, 20lb tippet, 3/0 Eat Me streamer in olive/white. Hooked at 7:45 pm, landed @ 8:20pm. Brutal fight. Stopped at marina and had dock hand do photos .... No category for Black fin tuna, hence "blue fin tuna"...
