Delger Moron River

Mongolia has some of the best fisheries in the world for giant taimen and the Delgar-Morron river has been known for many years as one of the best rivers for it. The weather throughout the week was very hot during the day and very cold at night but this didn't effect the fishing so much. For the first 4 days the water was stable dropping slowly each day which made for some great fishing. On the 5th day we saw some rain which turned the water murky making the fishing very tough however cleared up relatively quickly to make the last day give us some explosive action. The biggest fish for the week was 40"inches. The Lodging and guides were some of the best i have seen and made the trip very enjoyable.
