This month it has been all about the tarpon, both big and small. It has really been a great month for tarpon fishing. There has been a lot of baby tarpon around, which is typically for summer time especially with the amount of rain we have had. There has also been a lot of fish between 30-60lbs hanging around. We have done really well on both fly and plugs this month. The best part about it is you have the entire place to yourselves.

This is also a great month for pursuing a Backcountry Slam. That is a tarpon, snook, and redfish on fly all in the same day. The Everglades provides that almost everyday this month.
