Fantastic good fishing week 28 (4-11.7.2015) on our Fishmaster Gaula Flyfishing Lodge beat, total catch of the week was 47 salmon and 1 seatrout. Leo Niemantsverdriet from Holland was on fire the whole week and caught 6 salmon on five different pools - Sanden, Bruahölen, Röskaft, Evjenöra and Evjen. Most part of the salmon caught by our fishermen weighed 4-8 kg, but we caught also some grilse as well. Predictions about good season for the Gaula 2015 seems to become true.
Week started as sunny and warm, but on Monday the weather changed to colder, cloudy and rainy. On Tuesday water level raised to 480 cubics where it dropped to 140 cubics but raised again to 250 cubics on Friday. During the week water temperature dropped from 16 degrees to 9 degrees.
