Sava Bohinjka River

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon on Sava Bohinjka river, that is managed by our fishing club Radovljica. In these parts we only catch and then release fish without barbs on hooks. Fish population is healthy and abundant while reaching good size. The most numerous are rainbows, browns and graylings, with even some Danube salmons there. This part of the river and the whole district is spacious enough for all fly fishermen, whether they use dry flies, nymphs or streamers. Just be careful that the fish wont brake your line :) District is opened for fishing from 1.3 to 31.10, and during this time only Danube salmon fishing is allowed with terms being catch & release with no barbs on single hooks.
