Amago trout fly fishing in Japan
On the 1st of April, 2012
Went fishing for Amago on Fly with Tsschy and Eraarai at Gifu Pref. in Japan.
Amago is Red-spotted trout which only live in some west part in Japan.
In the morning it snowed and was drizzling but it was clouded and sometimes sunny afternoon.
It was a special day for Eraarai.
He fished a first trout in a river on even his hand-made fly.
And moreover he got good condition trout as well as a 2nd trout.
Congratulation!
He was using orange color landing net in the video.
Those trouts in the video`re fished by 3 of us.
As a result, We fished Amago on only nymph.
But around 3 o`clock it was sunny for a short time.
Could not catch but Amago reacted my dry flies "Light Cahill" #14 twice.
It made me kind of satified and happy.
The food at the end of the video were:
Dotemeshi: Boiled Achilles' tendon of Beef with Soy bean paste and some sliced green onion on rice. So yummy!
Motsu Siru: Miso soup with variety meat. It was first time to eat. This was unique.
Takuwan: pickled white radish. Common meal especially with rice.
I really enjoyed myself with my company.
