I tie the tails and the body of the fly.

Tie a CDC hackle beside the body.

Wrap the hackle around the hook, tie it next to the eye and cut the excess.

Shift forward CDC fibers and tie them on the hook.

Divide the fibers in half, with laps cross tying thread.

Remove the fly off vise and rule wing length with a cut
