Paso 1
Start with a good thread base, then tie in the pearl braid near the bend of the hook. work your way up to the eye of the hook
Paso 2
Puncture the skin side of the rabbit strip about an inch from the bottom, remover from vise and push completely through fur side down. Next, tie the strip in near the eye of the hook and whip finish. DO NOT CUT THE RABBIT STRIP!!!
Paso 3
push the tag ends of the wire through the eye from the bottom about half way. then push the tag ends through the loop you've created. then pull tight. After this, leave aside for now
Paso 4
Clamp down your streamer hook, throw on your cone head and wrap roughly 25 wraps of the round wire and firmly push up securing the cone head.
Paso 5
turn your trailer hook fur side up now and tie in the wire onto the streamer hook. be sure to double back the wire and tie in for added security.
Paso 6
tie in the rabbit strip roughly 2/3 the way up the shank of the hook.
Paso 7
begin to spin the rabbit strip all the way up to the cone head and tie off. Now you can trim off the excess rabbit.
Paso 8
cut a white strip of rabbit that reaches the end of the trailor hook from the eye of the streamer hook (about 2/3 the size of the darker rabbit strip). tie this white strip opposite of the darker strand, fur side down.
Paso 9
Tie in two pieces of lateral scale flash on both sides of the fly. Then whip finish and add a dab of fly head cement.
Paso 10
The final step is to cut off the point and bend of the streamer hook. Remember that the only hook you want is the trailer hook. but also be sure to crush the barb on that hook to ensure a clean and release! Go catch some fish!
