Conditions on the Squamish river just 50 minutes north of Vancouver should start to become very favourable in a few weeks when the salmon fry start hatching and the Bull trout go on a 2 month long feeding frenzy. Currently there's the odd fish but only when conditions are good. This river fishes very well in March/April. Bull trout up to 10 lbs are available.
