Due to opening weekends bad weather most rivers were high and dirty due to rain/snow melt, so we set out to find some fish-able water on some small coastal rivers. We had two good fish to the net early morning but high winds made it a tough to get good drifts, so we decided to go up a small branch of the main river which offered some reprieve. With one Brown hooked and lost as it found its way deep into some snags we spotted another fish a couple hundred meters up stream, After multiple fly changes and a few denials we managed to stick it! Was a unique looking brown trout as it's spots had joined to form lines. Enjoy
