From a very early age I developed a love for the sport of angling, I would class myself as an all round angler with a very keen interest in game fishing. I enjoy a small bit of course fishing with pike fishing been high on the goto list, I also spend sometime sea fishing with Dundalk Bay nearby that offers a wide range of species to target.
Up until 2009 I was a self-taught angler when I began working on becoming a Game Angling Instructor as I had became unemployed. From then I have become one of a small number of OCN Level 3 certified fly dresser and fly casting instructor with APGAI - Ireland (Association of Professional Game Angling Instructors in Ireland. http://apgai-ireland.ie
Over the last number of years I have delivered both fly tying and fly casting demonstrations and tuition View more...at all the major game fairs and shows across the country. I have also fished on the Irish team taking 3rd place in the UK Nations & Islands International Cup in 2013 and was top rod for the Irish team that year.
I provide a full guiding service and can offer multi-day fishing trips across the country, I also provide Fly Tying and Fly Casting tuition on a one to one basis or to angling clubs or groups at all levels from beginners to those who wish to improve their skills.
