Welcome to Salmon Fishing Holidays Scotland (SFHS). SFHS and the "Big 4 in 4™" are divisions of the Scottish Salmon Fishing Surgery Group.
The SFHS concept was devised by husband and wife team Sandy & Samantha Datta. Having salmon fished in Scotland for over 35 years, we initially founded Scotland’s first online salmon fishing magazine, www.scottishsalmonfishingsurgery.com (SSFS). We now have readers from all over the world in over 71 countries. With the magazine proving to be a great success among the salmon fishing fraternity, we felt that it would be good for other anglers to experience the same enjoyment we have had and are having from fishing for salmon in Scotland. We, therefore, decided to design bespoke tailor-made salmon fishing holidays in Scotland.

Our team has both local Scottish and Scandinavian guides, as well as female guides. A number of our guides are part of the LTS Across team Sweden. SFHS is the home of the "Big 4 in 4" Scottish salmon fishing challenge. The world famous ''Macnab'' challenge, namely to stalk a Red Deer, shoot a brace of Grouse and catch a salmon all within one day is synonymous with Scotland and is derived from the famous novel by John Buchan under the title ''John Macnab''. The challenge is highly prized amongst the sporting fraternity.
SFHS have developed the ultimate Scottish salmon fishing challenge, which rivals the famous "Macnab" in every way. The "Big 4 in 4" challenge, gives you the unique opportunity to fish on each of Scotland's world famous "big four" salmon rivers, the River Dee, Spey, Tay and Tweed on four consecutive days.
