Silver King is located in "Barra del Colorado", which is approximately 140 miles from San Jose in the extreme Northeastern Caribbean Coast and is the second largest rainforest preserve in Central America.
The landscape is comprised of tropical forest, fluvial islands, channels and swamp lands. With its many rivers, creeks and lagoons, this is a fantastic place to fish, and is among the best sport fishing destinations in the world. Snook, Snapper, Mackerel and Tarpon are main sport fish caught around here.

Tarpon
home to the some of the largest Tarpon in the world. Tarpon (Megalops atlanticus) are the "Silver Kings" of our coastal waters and can grow beyond 6 feet in length and weigh as much as 350 lbs.
The Tarpon is known for its spectacular leaps when hooked in an attempt to get away. The world record for Tarpon caught using a hook and line is 281 lbs. When afraid, the tarpon produces sound in the form of thumps using its swim bladder.
