It would of course be located in a remote wilderness, on a small island surrounded by 100,000 acres of water so clean and clear you could drink it; it would have private, pine paneled cabin with views of the lake; there would be a classic de Havilland Beaver and nine-passenger Turbo Otter docked in front and a dozen boats ready to go; the main lodge would be on a hill with commanding views; the entire facility would be eco friendly with a photovoltaic power system, composting toilets and four-stroke outboards; the customer service would be world-class and the professional, experienced guides would be highly competent and personally engaging; the dining would be first class and the place would have a classy spa, a Finnish sauna, a hot tub, a well stocked bar and high quality complimentary f

World Class Trophy Fishing
Unlike many lakes where you have to choose either good action or trophy size, Scott Lake offers both. It's not uncommon here to land 50 to 100 fish a day for a single boat, and we've had more than a few with well over 100 fish in a day. And with some of those in the trophy class, fishing just doesn't get much better anywhere in the world.
Trophy fish are common at Scott. We consider a pike a trophy if it measures 40" or lake trout a trophy if it measures 35" or more and a grayling a trophy if it measures 15" or more. Every year our guests land over 1000 trophies. We don't even keep track of the "small" ones weighing between 10 and 18 lbs. And you don't have to fly out or spend hours getting to the fish. In fact, a number of the best lake trout spots on the enti View more...re lake are within sight of the Lodge. We've had a 46" trout and a 50" pike caught within a 15 minute boat ride from our dock. With access to Scott and Premier lakes - all connected, you can fish 250,000 acres of private water and follow 500 miles of shoreline. That is a lot of room to roam. Typically you will spend 6 to 8 hours fishing not cruising around the lake.
Visit the Adventure section of our webiste, for answers to all of your fishing FAQ's and more. Read through our online Fishing Resources to explore details about each of our gamefish, their habitat, fly fishing tips and when is the best time to come to the Lodge.
Offering the same world-class standards of quality as the Laker Lodge, our theme-decorated Scott Lake cabins feature individual heating, wood floors, pine paneled walls, modern baths, comfortable beds and daily maid service.
This is not the type of accommodation you would expect in the middle of the wilderness.
Named after the native wildlife, each cabin's decor is unique with its own personality. All are nestled among the spruce trees along a path of freshly cut wood chips, some down by the docks, others tucked back from the shore offering more privacy. All our cabins offer a lake view.
