Berthelot Lake Lodge has been owned and family operated for over 50 years, servicing the needs of fishermen and hunters. Berthelot is located 560 kilometers (350 miles) north of Montreal and 110 kilometers (68 miles) East of Senneterre in picturesque Abitibi region in the remote wilderness of northern Quebec. Because of this, our quality of fishing and hunting is the best you'll find anywhere. This along with our caring service has enabled us to become one of the largest outfitters in northern Quebec.

View more...camps we also offer 30 fly-in Outpost camps, which have some of the best Canadian fishing for northern pike and walleye you'll find anywhere. Other species include sturgeon, lake trout, (by plane) and brook trout found in many of the small streams. With a maze of interconnecting rivers, rapids and lakes it's the ideal location for great fishing at any time of the season.
We also offer fly-in camps on the famous Gouin Reservoir. You'll stay in a comfortable cabins and enjoy some of the great fishing you've heard so much about.
In the spring we offer bear hunting at the lodge along with fishing. Beginning in October it's also time for Moose hunting at the fly-in camps and small game such as spruce & ruffled grouse and rabbit.
he main Lodge on Berthelot lake offers modern facilities along with American and European plans. There are 12 house keeping cabins which include electricity, running water, oil furnaces for heat, inside toilet, refrigerator, propane burners, cooking and eating utensils and central hot water showers. Single and double beds, sheets and covers.
The interconnecting lakes of Berthelot and Maricourt, extend for 14 miles. Besides the many islands, there are also four main rivers that flow in which provide excellent fishing in the spring and adds many additional miles to fish hunt and explore. Since there are no other camps on the lake, this helps to keep the hundreds of miles of shore line pristine for your enjoyment.
